  • Top-level channel messages become cards, with their files.
  • Approve and Request changes buttons decide a review.
Can do
  • Posts to one pinned channel. Mentions are refused.
  • Updates the review message after a decision.

  • Review posts go out when a draft needs review.
  • Channel posts as scoped send need a board manager’s consent on the web.
  • Only linked approvers decide, as their BakedBrie member.
You need
  • Your own Slack app with chat:write and the listed scopes. Or an owner or admin clicks Add to Slack.
  • The bot token and signing secret, passed as secrets.
  • A workspace owner or admin sets up approvals.
Limits
  • Add to Slack appears only where it is available.
  • Reviews need a work folder on the board.
