The rules. What you can hold us to.
BakedBrie is built around twelve promises. If a card ever breaks one, quote the number and tell us.

One owner
Every active card has exactly one owner: a person, an agent, or a named automation. You never have to ask who has it.

The card is the work
Brief, files, decisions, results, and conversation live on the card. There is no second place to look and no separate chat to keep up with.

Columns are your process
Columns show business stages like Research, Review, and Send. Working, Waiting, and Blocked appear on the card, never as extra columns you did not ask for.

Simple by default
A new board is yours alone, useful in minutes, and works with no AI connected at all. Create a card, attach context, assign it, answer when asked. Stage settings, routing, and logs exist for the people who want them and stay out of everyone else’s way.

Assignment is not permission
An agent works inside its role, its connections, its allowed actions, and its limits. It cannot invent a recipient, add a credential, spend from your accounts, or start a chain of agents.

One informed approval
Before anything reaches another person, you see the exact content, the recipient, and the consequences together, once. Change a word and it asks again. Approving one thing never authorizes a different thing later.

Receipts, not narration
A model saying it sent something is not evidence. The card records what the provider confirmed, and “accepted for sending” is not “delivered.”

A timeout is never success
If a write times out, the card says Outcome unknown and shows exactly which actions did complete. Nothing is sent twice by default.

Handoffs cannot lose work
Work stays with its sender until the next owner has it. A stalled handoff shows who is waiting, why, and by when.

Your authority persists
An expert cannot widen their own access, raise your spending, read boards you did not share, or hold the only copy of your work. Their package carries configuration, never your credentials or private memory. Revoking access is immediate.

Failures have a next action
A blocked card says what is wrong and what to do about it. Raw diagnostics stay under Activity for whoever needs them.

The money rule
Payment fees and applicable taxes come off first. Of what remains, 90 percent goes to the expert and 10 percent to BakedBrie. Your AI provider bills you directly, and we add nothing to it. The board itself is free.
